Beta Terms
Last updated 28 August 2026 · Version 1.0These terms cover the private beta of Rhyse Messenger and the waitlist on this website. They are provided by Hyperion Artificial Intelligence GmbH, Steinerstrasse 34, 6430 Schwyz, Switzerland (“we”, “us”).
1. What the beta is
Rhyse Messenger is unfinished software made available for testing. It may contain defects, may lose data, and may be changed or discontinued at any time. Do not rely on it as your only means of contacting your child.
2. Who may take part
You must be at least 18 years old and resident in the European Economic Area or Switzerland. A child account may only be created by that child's parent or legal guardian.
The service is offered in the European Economic Area only. This is a deliberate restriction: the interoperability rules we intend to rely on under Article 7 of Regulation (EU) 2022/1925 apply only to users in Europe.
3. Price
The beta is free of charge. We currently plan to charge €9.99 per month per child account when the service launches. That price is an intention, not an offer, and may change. We will never start charging you without asking first, and taking part in the beta creates no payment obligation.
4. Interoperability with other messaging services
We intend to make Rhyse Messenger interoperable with WhatsApp and Messenger under the Digital Markets Act. This is planned and is not available. It requires an interoperability agreement with Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. / WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. which we have not concluded, and it may be delayed, restricted or refused. Nothing on this website is a promise that it will be delivered.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the service unlawfully, to harass anyone, to distribute illegal material, or to attempt to break its security. We may suspend an account that does.
6. Your content
Messages belong to the people who send them. They are end-to-end encrypted, and we cannot read them. We claim no rights over them.
7. Feedback
If you send us suggestions during the beta, we may use them without obligation or payment. Do not send us anything you consider confidential.
8. Liability
The beta is provided “as is”, without warranty, to the fullest extent the law allows. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for intent or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
Rhyse Messenger is a safety tool, not a guarantee of safety. On-device filtering reduces exposure to harmful content; it cannot catch everything, and it does not replace adult supervision.
9. Ending your participation
You may stop at any time and ask us to delete your account and data. We may end the beta, in whole or for individual participants, with reasonable notice.
10. Governing law
Swiss law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is Schwyz, Switzerland. If you are a consumer resident in the EEA, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings there.
